Obama ENDORSES Murphy in U.S. Senate race against Grayson

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/politics/political-pulse/os-obama-and-biden-endorse-grayson-s-opponent-murphy-in-democratic-senate-primary-20160302-story.html

Obama endorses Murphy in U.S. Senate race against Grayson

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that they are endorsing U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate.

Biden will also campaign with Murphy, D-Jupiter, on March 28 in South Florida.

The move is a blow to U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Orlando, Murphy's main rival for the Democratic nomination to succeed outgoing U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio.

"I am proud to endorse Congressman Patrick Murphy for the United States Senate," Obama said in a statement.

......................

More details on Biden's campaign appearance with Murphy will be announced later.

So, Grayson endorses Sanders, then Obama and Biden endorse his opponent, Murphy. Any wonder about who they support for President?

Maybe you should do a little investigating into Grayson's recent past. I'm not against divorce, people should split when they no longer can live together. But check out the way he's been acting and treating his wife - google "Grayson Divorce"

BTW, he is one of the richest members of Congress, a clear 1%-er.

I also got the feeling that he's been singled out for special treatment. Hell there are profiles that get silence on their bad behavior because they're good for business. Grayson has been a fighter for us and we have damn few fighters on our side. You think Murphy will fight for our side? I don't. Give me a flawed human who has the courage of their convictions.

You support Clinton and point at Grayson? How many people has Grayson killed?

I like him a lot. He's my Rep right now and he has worked tirelessly on the cleanup of the St Lucie River (along with Senator Nelson).

Of course when I met him in person he was so genuine and gracious. The way he treated me and my family will never be forgotten. And yes it's personal to me. So, he has my vote.

Murphy was a member of the Republican Party, donating the maximum individual contribution of $2,300 to Mitt Romney's 2008 presidential campaign and $4,800 to other Republican candidates, until four months prior to announcing his candidacy for Congress, at which time he switched his registration to the Democratic Party and donated $4,000 to a variety of Democratic candidates.[21] He says he switched from being a Republican and a Mitt Romney supporter because of his disgust with the Tea Party movement.[21] Murphy was described in The Huffington Post as a "pro-choice, pro-LGBT rights but 'not ultra-liberal' Democrat who values fiscal responsibility."[6] The top five contributors to Murphy's campaign committee for the 2013-2014 time period were his family's construction company, Deloitte, Suntech Plumbing, Goldman Sachs, and J Street PAC.[22]

Murphy was GOP until 2012. Still votes with the GOP a lot, although Pelosi will arrange things so that he can safely vote with the Dems and not endanger DINO goals, I am sure.

Murphy only switched to being a Democrat to run against Allen West. He had no change of heart or ideology.

My family and I will be voting for Grayson. We don't have to live with him, but we do have to live with what he votes for or against.
Obama and Biden are set for life; the DINO bullshit Murphy espouses won't affect them adversely at all.

I don't care about Grayson's money. He is a liberal and a progressive, and Murphy is a DINO.

What does personal money have to do with that? I vote based on issues, on how I think a politician will vote. THAT is what affects me and my family, not all the money stuff.

To turn this back to you - if there were no issues involved - why would I support Hillary? She is FABULOUSLY wealthy! Isn't that your argument?

Issues. Deeds (in office). Records. Please try and understand that.

on cuts to social services. He will vote for the TPP. I don't give a flying fuck how much money Grayson has, he won't vote like that, and only, IMO, a fool would fail to see that. Or a person who would not be affected. I don't know why that is so hard to understand - but it doesn't matter, really, I wouldn't vote for Murphy if he was the only one running in the GE - and isn't that okay? - because that's what Debbie Wasserman-Schultz does? Refuse to support Democrats if they are not DINOs? Sauce for the goose and all that!
