Does Anyone Else Find It Odd That...

The candidate who is calling for a political revolution, and who says change doesnt happen from the top down, has yet to raise any money for downticket races (the revolution), meaning anything that could possibly be done without the help of Congress would have to be done top down?

How do Bernie fans feel about this? Is the revolution only about electing one person, or is the revolution about taking back our govt via downticket races so we can make actual progress?

So you have to give $38,800 to Hillary before a dime goes to the state parties.

Bernie has a very small number of donors who have maxed out.

Hillary only gives to other entities when she legally can't take any more.

1. Bernie's coattails are enough to get a Democratic Congress
2. The bully pulpit - Bernie in it will convince Republicans to vote for single payer

The Revolution is to be simple and easy.

Not here.

If there were any, from experience, they would not get any money from Washington.

over and over again -- AND OBAMA REFUSED. He refused to give money to Harry Reid. He refused to give to Howard. Obama did not create a fundraising agreement with the DNC until mid-May.

So I think we can give Bernie a pass until at least mid-May.

Do you know who COULD raise money for down-ticket races???

How about two people whose ACTUAL JOB it is to raise money for Democratic candidates in down-ticket races -- the DNC (Debbie) and the head of the Party - Barack Obama.

We already know that Obama can fund-raise better than anyone.

All he would have to do is put out a rousing ten-second request in an internet ad over several forms of social media. The intake would be UNBELIEVABLY HIGH. SO WHY doesn't he do that? Instead he will go to perhaps ten insider/rich people $2000 dollar-per-plate events later this year.

I REALLY, REALLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE PARTY AND THEIR METHODS - THEY ARE SO BLIND WHEN IT COMES TO NEW TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIAL MEDIA.

seem to be firmly in the Obama/Hillary/Blue Dog camp. I can see either of them voicing support for Bernie. I don't know if we really want to fund them anyway.
