LA Times: "Clinton's pragmatism and Sanders' ideological bent... on display in debate."

From the article..

Clinton's pragmatism and Sanders' ideological bent are on full, and divisive, display in debate

For all their shared views, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have come to this presidential contest with very different theories of how to command the presidency, driven by the Democratic schools in which they grew up and prospered.

In Sunday's presidential debate, Clinton demonstrated her pragmatic positioning, which caused her continued grief as Sanders hammered her on positions she has taken that date back to the more centrist 1990s. Sanders demonstrated his inflexible ideological bent, which caused him grief as Clinton hammered him on choosing purity even when that meant opposing steps such as money for the auto industry bailout on which so many jobs in Michigan depended.

The bolded sentence about Sanders "inflexible ideological bent" was the main takeaway from last nights debate. Not a good night for Bernie. Will likely impact upcoming votes in MI, OH, IL and WI.

Unlike Bernie who simply said no never. I dont favor it but clearly its doesnt make sense to just ban the practice entirely.

Unless she can't because communities won't allow it. That's pretty black and white.

Everywhere! 7wo7rees made lots of money in the Barnett Shale boom. He has since left the entire industry, sick at heart for the role he played.

We know, and we are very sorry. Fight it every chance we get.

Tks, Armstead.

I also recall many staffers threatened to quit if the Koch brothers were allowed to buy the paper.

Call me crazy but that doesnt sound like a RW paper to me.

She seems ok to me. I browsed some of her articles and they seem fair. Here is one that is pro-Biden and dissing Trump.

If you want to know what a real RW paper looks like take a look at the Washington Times.

... and looking at Hillary's poll numbers, delegate count, union endorsements, political endorsements, newspaper endorsements, and even his celebrity endorsements (for whatever value celebs have) it's easy to see that many people agree that she's the better choice.

Bernie will not be the nominee.
