3. I loved Bernie's response on this

When Anderson Cooper said incredulously that Bernie's position was agreeing with Ted Cruz who is against the Export-Import Bank, Bernie said something like "Let me fill you in on something. Democrats aren't always right about everything." I hope there were a lot of Independents and conservatives who were watching and had their jaws drop when he said that. I came across an article on how Elizabeth Warren has been in favor of the ExIm Bank but was pushing for it to meet its mandate of at least 20% of it going to small business, a target that had only been met once in the last 4 years. I am disappointed to find out Warren supports this corporate welfare. The Chamber of Commerce has been digging around trying to find small businesses who "need" this help and can't find enough to enable it to meet its small business mandate while still taking care of all the big multinationals who want to use it.

The easiest thing to do, the thing nearly anybody would have done in his situation (as Hillary did) was to say sue the gun manufacturer. But Bernie said if it was legal sale, the manufacturer didn't do anything wrong and the retailer didn't do anything wrong, a crazy person bought the gun legally and went on a rampage with it, then he didn't think you should be able to hang it on the manufacturer or retailer. What he implied but didn't say is if you want to get rid of guns, then say that and pursue the legislation. But if it is a legal product, you can't sue the manufacturer unless they were negligent or somehow knew they were selling to bad people, etc.

There are going to be some independent voters and maybe even a few conservatives who look at honest responses like these and say that even if I don't agree with all of his positions, he is an actual honest, non pandering politician and maybe I should take a harder look at him.

with multi-billion dollar profits that would rather socialize the risk while
privatizing the profits.
