2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumCNN Frontpage - Big picture of Clinton, no picture of Sanders
The lead story is:
What went wrong for Clinton?
http://www.cnn.com
This is the most rigged election I have ever witnessed.
Yet, Sanders popularity keeps growing.

(11,546 posts)I end to look at the overseas outlets but even they have their biases.

(154,021 posts)We run a small Indy outlet and at times it is hard, when doing political, to keep biases out we try

(20,998 posts)I gotta say: good information. I used to be a Salon member got a bit burned out in 2008. Lately I've been seeing some good stuff posted.
I hope more people read and absorb the info.

(31,935 posts)I have friends in the news business. One handwritten letter has the weight of 100 emails in most newsrooms. They get a small pile of them from Sanders supporters, and they WILL start to take notice!

(5,122 posts)It's also what I see now as well.

(62,269 posts)There are just some events the MSM can't overlook. I've said this from the start. Don't discount Sanders' ability to destroy the MSM narrative.

(28,462 posts)No surprise Clinton's count includes the superdelegates.
dana_b
(11,546 posts)the MSM don't know what hit them and their narrative is not working. The "inevitable" one is not looking so inevitable now and they are scared. We have been telling them that and they are JUST beginning to see a little bit of it.
I find it slightly amusing but also very irritating.

(598 posts)Now Bernie Sanders has top headline.
Also, it said in big print, odds at Hillary winning FL was 90%. That a good sign for Bernie. Hillary, they said, was 99% favorite to win Michigan.
casperthegm
(643 posts)for this election. I used to think that CNN was generally balanced in its news coverage, with a slight bias toward the left. I thought I could rely on them for not showing favoritism. And while MSNBC was liberal, I figured they'd at least allow for a level playing field for the democratic candidates. Boy was I naive.

(598 posts)I am EXTREMELY disappointed in PBS. In particular the Mclaughlin Group. Extreme bias in favor of Hillary AND against Bernie. I've been a regular viewer for Years. I would record their shows so not to miss. I am losing interest, as they lose their credibility.

(598 posts)I've come to the conclusion PBS is more concerned with their large corporate sponsors than they are with "Views Like You".
marions ghost
(19,841 posts)Sad to see --but the only way to get changes, if enough "viewers like you" finally see through it and come together for an even bigger voice.
It can be done. I am hopeful.

(19,841 posts)The mainstream media is guilty of the most egregious manipulation in previous elections and in this one. People are starting to see it. Looks like Dorothy got into the Emerald City finally.
Thanks for speaking for those who are shocked by seeing the wizard behind the curtain.
