Was phone banked last night -

First time in the primary cycle. I don't typically ever get phone banked or polled because we all use cells, no house phone.

I answer the phone and a very sweet young lady on the line asks for my 21 year old daughter. She said she was phone banking for Bernie I squeed.

I handed my phone to my daughter and the young lady was thrilled to hear we have 6 for Bernie in household. Including the older farts in the house

Just wanted to share. NC is supposed to go to Hillary, but we're still going to put up a fight.

2. When folks come to the door or catch me on the phone for my candidate, I always hustle them along to

the next person. I don't want them wasting time on a solid vote when they could be getting new votes.

I got 2 calls from them on my cell and at least one on my home phone (which sometimes does not get answered because anyone I want to talk to has my cell number). Also the texts listed in the above link. No mailers or other contact, unless my going to rallies and donating count.

The Clinton camp sent me three mailers. All big high quality and in full color. Well, they wasted that money. No other contact from them. Not even a call (unless it was to my home phone and I didn't answer it).

Everyone from the Sanders camp identified themselves as volunteers. If we assume that they have unlimited calling and texts, their cost to contact me was nominal, if not nonexistent and I did actually turn out and vote for them/him.


From my perspective, it sure looks as if Bernie has the better campaign.

4. I was phone banked yesterday too, here in NC

Told her my wife were fully on board and feeling the Bern. And we donated another $30 last night in celebration of the Michigan win. We're hoping that Bernie can pull out a win here in NC.
