1.) Griffin is a talented NPO executive and knows to avoid any comment that might harm the organization.

2.) Griffin is a staunch Clinton supporter and wouldn't criticize Hillary if she'd even said something much worse than what she actually said. (Also, refer back to point #1. Criticizing Hillary would harm the organization.)
