"I'm planning to vote Saturday"

I dropped by a gas station last week. I've chatted with the clerk there, a young black man, off and on over the years, so I hazarded some remark about Trump

Nah, he said. I'm feelin the Bern

I reminded him early voting was about to start.

I'm planning to vote Saturday, he told me

I pointed out that the polls would be open only a half day that day. He said he hadn't realized that and thanked me. I told him what I could about early voting locations and hours

I was back there last night and asked if he'd gotten a chance to vote. He'd voted

You're a Sanders supporter?

Yes, he told me, but he said he'd had a really hard time making up his mind

I said I thought both Clinton and Sanders were good and that I'd support whichever got the nomination

So would he

voted. The fact that he voted for Bernie is no matter. I am a Hillary supporter but what I want is for everyone to vote.

Both are good candidates. There is no need to trash either. I very much wish that everyone felt that way!
