Good Lord, what a waste.
Did they ask a single worthwhile follow-up question of either candidate? They asked Sanders one or two questions in total, did they ask anything of Clinton at all?
Why were they there, other than to introduce people from the audience.
Shameful, shameful "journalism".

(50,130 posts)I did see Hillary, and it appeared to me that many of the questions conveniently allowed her to put to rest to some degree things that people don't like about her. The death penalty. Use of the military. Etc. She was able to rephrase her position on those stumbling blocks

(3,017 posts)People got to see candidates talk most of the time, which is how I think it should be. The audience questions were good enough to keep the candidates from reciting their talking points and stump speeches verbatim.
We got to see another couple of patented Hillary ad libbed tap dances on the death penalty and fracking, both of which were horrible.
