"Boss" was on the neighbours coffee table. Ryko was my first political read. The evolution of corruption, is just a new model of corruption, improved in the most perfidious way.

Our local newspaper (The Huntsville Times in Huntsville, AL) carried his syndicated column. My Dad, who was pretty down the middle politically, would often chuckle while reading Royko's column and tell me I should read it. Royko could identify the juicy targets and really had a way with words.

Rahm's leadership on reducing police abuse is right on par with the way the Reagans "started the national conversation on AIDS".

19. It seems that Sanders is getting a boost BECAUSE of the Cook County State's Attorney Race

I am so hoping that folks are ready to kick Anita Alvarez to the curb; of all the public officials involved in the various law enforcement evils in Cook County, Anita Alvarez's hands are the dirtiest...bar none (and remember, she is a County official and not a city official)

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/03/14/1500898/-Here-are-more-reasons-why-Chicago-should-vote-Anita-Alvarez-out-of-office-Tuesday

The way some of y'all feel about Hillary Clinton on this board...that's how I feel about Anita Alvarez.

And if the same voter anger that gets Anita Alvarez out of the state's attorney's office lifts Bernie Sanders to victory in Illinois...I'll take it.

there is nothing simple about American politics. This never ending attempt to reduce it to some black and white, cartoonish view for cheap political points is laughable.

That matters, since it is indefensible for Rahm to remain in office after he helped hide the Laquan McDonald police murder video.

You got yourself a Primary winning message

This simple, yet very powerful statement would do VERY well with Hillary's Chicago voting demographic. And they know it, judging by these responses. You're not allowed to do that!
