About this time in '08,

I shifted my support from Hillary to Barack. I had supported Hillary because I thought she would kick Republican butts and take conservative names, and I doubted that Obama would -- was I wrong about that? But I felt we needed a clear winner, and at that stage, Obama looked like the better bet to put it all together before the convention. But Hillary stuck to it and made it close at the convention, so I was wrong about that.

I have been supporting Berne, and doing that so far as possible without directly opposing Hillary. This time, I think I'm staying with Bernie as long as he is in it.

I supported Hillary, voted for her in Florida (looking back - what hubris!) - but then - I have done my due diligence concerning Hillary.
I will support Bernie as long as he is in it, and then all bets are off.

Grandson (redditor, Bernie supporter, lives with me) says Hillary is just more of the same shit for his generation. I cannot disagree with him.

That will be followed by the resurgence of the DLC and a purging of all of the Liberals who followed Obama to DC.

Buncha corporate friendly Dems rolling in and acting like those kids had their fun but the adults are in charge now.

A couple of 3rd Wayers have already told me I'm nno longer wanted and should to go start my own party today.

Bunch of arrogant "followers" in my opinion. They (not all but some if not many) wrap themselves in what gives them a sense of security and afraid to step outside it.

obama was not the clear winner yet.

seriously; we need to stay in this!

who knows what the FBI will have to say about the SoS and the clinton foundation?

who knows what gaffes, missteps, and misspokens she'll spill?

and most importantly, who knows just how badly sanders can beat her out west?!

so this is a long race and I'm alway learning , question for me is not Can she win. maybe , since Donald doesn't play fair maybe she doesn't But I just don't see her as a D. and I don't like using Dino, Obama was quite good in getting Conservatives to our side. But what was once a good thing not so good now. In any case one can't force someone to vote a certain way, they shouldn't be threatened with a purge because of a single person they don't like but they are Democrat to the core, ie I might have my State as the #1 page I go to. and not the main page. otherewise where will I get my news. Republicans will have a banner year if one purges all the Democrats off DU who don't vote 100 % Democrat and except 2012 I was never a straight party voter.

But again I still don't see who's going to win. They keep saying it's gonna be a mess on the Republican side. Hey Donalds got it in the bag. I see him winning. I think Democrats will have a bigger mess as I see it from this point forward

and my heart says Bernie is the right person for our party and our country at this time. The time for "incrementalism" and "triangulating to the center" has long been over. I fear that a Hillary nomination is the equivalent of fiddling while Rome burns.

Berners are ahead of the population at large in recognizing and accepting this.

What strikes me about the primary thus far is that the majority of Dems (i.e., those who have voted for Hillary thus far) can be characterized in one or more of the following ways:
those that are still focused on single social issues;
those who are -- perhaps unknowingly -- out of touch with the real struggles of today's middle class;
those who are relatively unaware low, information voters; and
those who are just plain afraid and stuck in their comfort zone.

The Occupy movement at its core had it right, as does the Bernie movement. In the end, we shall prevail -- maybe not in 2016, but we shall. Stay strong Berners! Stay at it! As Bernie would say, "We are not crazy!"
