Bernie, Hillary and the long view.

A healthy primary will strengthen the Democratic Party in the long run. More young and new Dems are registering to vote and becoming active. This bodes well for throwing out the GOP in 2016 and more importantly in 2020 which is a census year. The current gerrymander is favoring the republicans because of the 2010 teaparty wave (census year) that put them into power and is keeping them there for now.

In the meantime, to all my Democratic friends. Congratulations on Hillary's successful night. Bernie has a good chance of winning 5 out of the next 6 contests as well as California and New York. PLEASE STOP asking me to stop supporting Bernie, the candidate that I believe in and am working hard to get nominated. I spent Monday in Youngstown, OH canvassing for Bernie, and will be phone banking for him this week. The process is not over yet. I will vote and work for whomever the Democratic nominee is come November, but PLEASE STOP trying to convince me to abandon Bernie whose beliefs are more closely aligned with my own. I cannot and will not give up on the candidate that I believe in until the primary is over.

If they had confidence they'd all just be attacking the republicans. Instead they attack DUers!!

As I look at the GE, the idea of Hillary as the nominee scares me badly. We have been nice to Hillary. The republicans will not be nice and given we have a dumbed down voter population Hilary doesn't stand a chance.

Bernie can defeat the republicans.
