Think Again Hillary Democrats: Ten Reasons Why She Could Lose this Fall

The media tells us that Hillary has a lock on the nomination. That news should make her supporters extremely nervous, and not because the prognosticators have been wrong so many times already. All Democrats should worry because her major policy and character flaws could leave us with a Republican president this fall. Here’s why.

1. The Senator from Wall Street: This is not 1972 when the country was so deeply divided over the Vietnam War. That upheaval wrecked the Democratic Party and led to the Nixon landslide over George McGovern. Now the country is united against Wall Street. Hillary will have a great deal of difficulty triangulating her way to safety. She will never be able to explain away why she received over $11 million in corporate speaking fees, much of it from Wall Street, and why she still is accepting millions from Wall Street for her campaign.

The defensive lines she is using are weak — Obama did it too. I’m have a proven record against Wall Street. I can’t be bought. My proposals are even tougher than my opponent’s.

Do you really think that will sell in the Fall?

Much more...

The guy whose immigration policy is to slap the hell out of Mexico and his foreign
policy is slap the hell out of ISIS.

The same guy whose core demographic is low info, undereducated, pissed off white guys
and various racist groups who love him because he tells it like it is.

Isn't he the same guy who is the Republican front runner by dint of winning with a plurality that topped out around 40%.

Yeah Hillary isn't going to want to match wits with that guy. Lol.

to turn back to the right after the primary, I'm sure Trump if he wins will turn just a bit to the left to match her. Remember, we are going by what these people say, not what their past history has been, and that is where the rubber hits the road. Both of these candidates, HRC and Trump say whatever is necessary to try to win the election. Sad day in America if this is all we have to choose from in the fall.

walk back the comments that his base has been so happy to hear (the pissed off white guy) at least not any differently than Hillary will walk back the liberal comments she has made. With a wink and a nod, the task will be accomplished. Just wait and see. It appears many in this nation aren't hard to deceive, they believe all of what they hear, and none of what they see it appears.

he's not going to get many votes past the pissed off white guys

His own party is trying to stop him.

The Democrats will support our nominee. We may lose a few but in the main
they'll vote for our nominee in the GE.

Fri Mar 18, 2016, 01:59 PM
Mar 2016

it will be necessary. Remember, in the general she will need to win dissatisfied republicans, democrats, and independents. Independents make up over 40% of the electorate, they are not democrats or republicans. Some lean left and some lean right. Figuring out how many is nearly, if not impossible. So, Hillary will have to try to walk that tight wire. Bernie is who he is and will continue to be who he is in the general. Hillary has flip flopped on just about everything since she first came into politics, from high school days to now. Who is she really? That's what I would like to know. Can you tell me?

The article covers many bases and makes a lot of sense. He has written my fears about the upcoming general election if HRC wins the nomination. I can't understand why the M$M is failing this country the way it is. Well, maybe I can understand $$$$$$$$$$ is worth more than peace, tranquility, equal rights, and justice for all, not just some of us. I marvel at what is happening in this country right now, and hope that the upcoming primary races will be won by Bernie Sanders. If not, I truly hope HRC will rethink her positions and become the candidate she is trying to portray herself as right now, Bernie Sanders lite. Oh yes, I know. But I can dream can't I.

It's not the MSM, but anyone with an understanding of delegate math, that tells us that Hillary is the presumptive nominee. So what is the point of this kind of post? We should be focusing on building our presumptive nominee up and defeating the Fascists on the Right. There is too much at stake to play this kind of game.

39. No, by stopping the lies and distortions about her record.
Fri Mar 18, 2016, 10:05 AM
Mar 2016

She's flawed, yes, but it's time for Bernie supporters to, at the very least, stop the distortions of her record. One example: her IWR vote was far more complex than what Bernie supporters like to admit, and this has been pointed out numerous times. Yet you still hear from Bernie supporters that she fully supported the war and is bloodthirsty etc.. Disagree with her vote (I do), but don't distort it. And that goes for the rest of her record too.

Build up Bernie if you still believe he can win, but stop attacking Hillary. She is almost certainly going to be the Democratic nominee, and we need to not do the Republicans' job for them.

Bernie does OK with Democrats and MUCH BETTER than Hillary with the other 70% of the population. Were you aware that that other 70% ALSO gets to vote in the GE?
So, if the GE was made up ONLY of DEMOCRATS, you would be right, but since it ISN'T, you are wrong.

Fri Mar 18, 2016, 10:28 AM
Mar 2016

That article is just politics. You can make a simiilar case against Bernie, and the right certainly would. This is how the right might run against Bernie:

1. Instead of the Senator from Wall Street, let's call him the Senator from Cuba
2. Instead of the free trade cheerleader, let's call him the anti-export hero
3. Instead of the global warrior, let's call him American surrender
4. Enthusiasm gap? Let's look at his low support among minorities, the truest Democratic base
5. Trust? Let's call Bernie's policies outlandish.
6. I not we? Let's call Bernie's "we" ideological and cultish
7. Working class blues? Let's talk about Bernie's blues with those who have 401Ks for retirement
8. Unmotivated AA voters? Let's look at the fact that millennials are turning out in smaller numbers than they did for Obama, and that millennials are 36% Republican (according to Pew pollilng)
9. The typical politician? Let's look at Bernie's lifetime career in typical politics
10. Weaker polling? Just wait until they start attacking that tax-raising commie.

My point is not that Bernie is weaker or Hillary is stronger, it's just that this kind of stuff is politics When the general election gets under way, we will have a better idea of how strong either candidate is. Both Bernie and Hillary are reasonably strong but for different reasons. Either of them should win provided they can run the better campaign.
