2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhat are you actively doing for your chosen candidate?
Please note: I am saying nothing against any candidate, and I am certainly not telling anyone to leave the Democratic Party, just the opposite, as you'll see if you follow my posts in the next few days. I just want people to check in and say what they're actively doing for their chosen candidate.
Please note also: I have taken care to word questions about activity for both candidates exactly the same:

and I will be advocating for him at our next DTC meeting and writing an op-ed to run prior to our primary. Been donating frequently, too.

(16,916 posts)of the three, donating has been the most difficult to manage, as I have more time than money.

(3,017 posts)I donate (4 times so far) but don't phone bank or canvas, so there is no option I can answer truthfully. Perhaps change one of the "and" options to "or"? But it's your poll and you can do whatever you like. I am only commenting so you will understand why at least one Bernie supporter is not responding to your poll.

(12,471 posts)from DAY ZERO. I took off work to go to Vermont to see him announce. I have been donating, canvassing, phoning, and whatever else I can do for the campaign.
This is the first time in my life that I feel that I can give this much to a candidate who shares many of my views.

(8,636 posts)I went up to Iowa with the Kansas City contingent from November until the caucuses; I was out canvassing one day when the temperature was all of 8 degrees!
Of course, I've been phonebanking and canvassing in Missouri, until the primaries. I'll continue phonebanking into AZ and other states until the primaries are over.
And, yes, I'm donating. I'm signed up for a monthly donation through ActBlue!

(16,685 posts)Bernie would have a better shot at my state but not likely either way. My vote for president will not matter. I will, however, continue to express my discontent with the direction of rhe Democratic Party and how it is devastating us at the non-presidential level (and undermining itself even there). Clintonism and 3rd way politics has been devastating both policy - wise and politically.
