The Hill: CNN to hold five-candidate forum Monday

Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and John Kasich attend AIPAC. Sanders does not. Good!

The final five presidential candidates will appear on CNN Monday evening as part of a three-hour candidate forum with Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer.

Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and John Kasich will appear at CNN's "Election Center" in Washington, while Bernie Sanders will be interviewed remotely from the campaign trail. The interviews will be conducted separately, so they will not engage with one another on stage like in a debate.

The four candidates will be in town for the pro-Israel AIPAC conference. Sanders told the group he could not attend that conference because of his campaign schedule.

The scheduling comes just days after Fox News decided to cancel its Monday night GOP presidential debate. Donald Trump had pulled out of the debate, citing his AIPAC speech, while Kasich boycotted the event in response to Trump's decision.

I guess the only thing better would have been he goes and tells them it's time for Israel to live without U.S. aid, make peace, stop bombing prison camps, etc.

But of course this is an issue on which Sanders is evolving. He also almost attended McConnell's big coronation party for Netanyahu.
