I supported Bernie's candidacy and voted for him in Virginia. But I choose to live in the real world and not ignore reality or inflate Bernie's chances. That doesn't mean he should drop out, however. His candidacy, despite what many here believe, was always more of a message campaign than a revolution. And it will be good for his message to continue to be heard up to and at the convention.

And then, he should indicate his support for the party's nominee and follow through by doing what he can to persuade his supporters that they should join him in that regard.

Over and over again, people living in states that haven't voted yet have made the same point, but it hasn't dissuaded some Hillary supporters from stating that Bernie should drop out now, and that his supporters need to get on board the Hillary train right now. Those who truly believe in the democratic process don't need to be reminded that everyone should have an opportunity to vote for the candidate of their choice. As for those whose only concern is that Hillary get the nomination by any means will not be persuaded by anything we say. Thankfully, I think they are the minority of Hillary supporters on DU, although they seem to be the most vocal ones.

When the primaries and caucuses are over, we will see where we are, and everyone will then have to decide who to vote for in the GE. It is premature to be demanding loyalty from the supporters of either candidate before we have a nominee, and since this pressure is from Hillary's supporters, it makes DU feel unwelcome at times to Bernie supporters. I am not only referring to myself, but to other Bernie supporters who have expressed the same feeling.

I would prefer it if we all tried to stick to debating the issues, rather than attacking or pressuring one another for our support of a particular candidate.

... I've been trying to verify that my registration change a couple of months ago went through (Undeclared to Democratic - I've received nothing in the mail, while others I know have already received sample ballots, etc).

For http://www.sos.ca.gov/ I'm getting Server not found. Server not found for the Secretary of State government site? What the heck?

For my county voter info https://secure.countyofnapa.org/VoterInfo/ I see:

"The Voter Information site is unavailable at this time. Please check back two months before the next Election."

Makes me more than a little nervous.

I just want to make sure that I'll be able to vote. I should have just left myself as 'undeclared'.

Be sure to check all the boxes at the bottom. Sign under penalty of perjury that you are a US citizen and ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS. (There are some you don't really have to answer, but to be safe answer all of them.)

Check your form to be sure you haven't missed anything.

MAIL IT IN YOURSELF OR HAVE SOMEONE MAIL IT IN FOR YOU.

Unless they have changed the law and the process, you should receive the stub at the bottom in the mail once you are really registered.

Just fill out the form again.

18. Easier said than done!

I live in a rural area, and (due to el nino) we have a main road closed between me and the closest town (Napa), I have to drive 33 miles out of the way currently, and my commute to work takes me in a different direction.

Not sure how long this will last, but I'm sure I will get to the bottom of this before the deadline.

I am a registered voter, all I did was change my party affiliation. Wishing now that I hadn't. But you can be sure I'll get it sorted in time to vote.

It just bugs the heck out of me that the sos site, and the http://registertovote.ca.gov/ is down. What the Hell?

I'm in IT, and knowing that this is a major government website has me concerned. I wonder how long it has been down, and I wonder if it has been hacked, or what.

I don't know how it is this year but in 2012 I registered a lot of voters and some told me they tried to register on line but couldn't do it. They may have improved the program for that.

If you have a computer, try to get in touch with the state Democratic Party office. You may be able to call and get some advice on how to register to vote in your particular situation.

I hope you can register. It is so important to vote.

You can have a guess, though, based on polls and other information. California? Well, I lived there most of my life. I predict that Hillary Clinton will win that state. By what margin, I don't want to predict. But win it she will

New York is still waiting to vote. That state looks very likely to go for Hillary with a large margin.

We'll find out how all states vote, and we'll be able to look at how their votes affect the delegate count, which is the only measure that matters in selecting a nominee.

Nobody knows how the rest of the states will vote, but we often have a pretty good idea.
