Live updates from Bernie Sanders’ rally in Seattle

I've said it before and I'll say it again: local newspapers do a far better job covering campaigns than the national media. Of course, I'm biased. I used to work for a few local newspapers.

Black Lives Matter signs are held up during the Bernie Sanders rally on Sunday. (Ken Lambert / The Seattle Times)

I like this sign:

Hillary = Same
Trump = Lame
Bernie's Got Game!

I went to hear him speak the last time he was here, and he didn't speak at all.

that Cruz is doing better than Trump.

I don't know about you, but it scares the daylights out of me that Cruz actually managed to get this far. That dude is DANGEROUS.

It is just frightening to me how little people seem to care and view this as a game.

I know if Bernie doesn't win we are just in for more war spending and social service cuts. But I try to take the long view. It took us over 30 years to get to this point. It will take a few years if not more to reverse it. We just have to keep fighting no matter what.

She and Trump are neck and neck.

That's my opinion - he's the real independent on the right just as B is on the left. Not comparing them except to say they are the only two who are not beholden to their masters. Take some of Trumps media crap with a grain of salt. We don't know the real Trump.

blank caucus registration forms to take along.

(If you enter an invalid address at the pre-registration site, it clears the form, and you can print it that way.)

That's the problem isn't it with caucuses? How are people like me represented? is there a way?
