$2700. That's the max.

You can donate that much to a candidate's primary campaign. You can donate the same amount again in a candidate's GE campaign, too. It's either a lot of money to you or not so much, really.

Some donate it in smaller increments, like $27 dollars. 100 of those donations will add up to the max. I can't afford to donate that much to any candidate. I just don't have it to spare, and haven't for years. I donate my time, instead, mostly to legislative candidates in my own district. If you're in my situation, too, I recommend doing that. It's a great way to contribute. You can also volunteer to help Bernie or Hillary, if you prefer, of course.
