What is the Sanders Revolution doing at the State level?

All the complaints about voting problems ignore the fact that, in our Federal system, voting rules are determined by State Governments; most of them currently under the control of the Republican Party. The only way to change that, short of legal action that will require a lengthy trip to the Supreme Court, is to flip the State Houses and State Legislatures. How much effort is being made to elect Democrats at the State level, or is Bernie the only game in town?

then how can one be bothered to turn up for school board, mayor, or state legislator?

#FeelThe22PercentPropertyTaxPublicQuestion just isn't a catchy, exciting slogan.

It's that far too many people in my generation just can't be bothered to vote unless the particular election is entertaining or exciting. Politics and governance are dreadfully boring and routine on a day-to-day basis, but if somebody's going to have to decide how much money you spend at the supermarket or how traffic gets directed by your neighborhood, might as well be you, right?

They'll learn the hard way that you can't win elections from Facebook. And then most likely blame everyone else for their apathy.

The internet is a great tool for activism, but it's also somewhat of a trap largely because you can create your own echo chambers where dissenting opinion isn't allowed.
