I've been busy today on a writing contract.

I haven't had a lot of time to spend on DU, and may not for the next few days. So, has Bernie pulled ahead in the pledged delegate count after yesterday's primary events? If not, then I can safely limit my time in GD-P until I'm finished with this contract project.

Seriously, though, the AZ primary was FUBAR, for sure. I'm not sure whether the percentage results would have changed had it not been so screwed up, but Arizona needs to have its election processes investigated by federal authorities to see whether there is an attempt to deny minority voters their right to vote.

I suspect so, given the demographics of AZ, which should make it a solid Blue state. Instead, it is a bastion of right-wing Republican rule. Something smells there, and it's not the old copper mine sulfur smell, either. It smells like right-wing flop sweat to me. So, let's see if we can't encourage the Justice Department to get in there and determine whether minorities are having their voting rights violated and call a Grand Jury to investigate the Secretary of State there.

This affects all Democrats, not just supporters of our two primary candidates. Something is rotten in the state where I was born, it seems to me. I only lived there for the first three months of my life, but my Birth Certificate has the seal of the State of Arizona on it.
