She said there were lots of Bernie supporters there and no HRCers.
She and her fiancé are feeling the Bern!
She said the count was116 for Bernie and 29 for HRC--delegates: Bernie 6 and HRC 2

(154,021 posts)I have made it clear.
But this election is quite ugly, and when people make all political... even a bird landing on the lectern... well... I do not expect healing. I do not expect many people voting for the other guy or gal in November and the party is indeed splitting. This is less obvious than the Rs. In fact, the ugliness reminds me of what is happening with the republicans as well.
This is dangerous... but hey... I just take notes.
I really should get back to the city budget. Over 1000 pages, thanks environmentalists, Dang Climate Action Plan added a whole section to it... so... more work. (And I love them for making that happen, alas those voters are about to get annoyed with your party...for wanting to remove roof top solar from the local plank. They vote and they are active)

(92,136 posts)I wasn't.
Just wanted to let you know that the self-deletes were not directed at anyone, but I am just tired of the cynicism, and I am not going to play that game.
Have fun budgeting

(92,136 posts)because some were offended because they can't distinguish between subjects/verbs/ and the objects they act upon. It was pretty clear I was referring to Trump, but that isn't my problem
I am pretty much done with the GD-Primary forum anyway.
Thanks again

LOL
Just joking, but couldn't resist, Wasilla and all!
I would love to visit Alaska some day. My dad went there many many years ago to watch a fellow dog musher compete in the Iditarod.
He never forgot that trip and the things he experienced.

(4,552 posts)I hope Bernie wins so we can see a stronger economy in time for me to afford such a trip myself. My wages are low and I work very hard to make ends meet. I will retire in 4 years, the legal retirement age at the moment. Hopefully if he wins, there won't be any cuts to my SS or increase to my retirement age before I get to the finish line!! I am worn out and just want to finally enjoy life.
All the best.

(46,436 posts)plus they've decided to fully embrace the new marijuana industry here, unlike neighboring Wasilla that's too enamored with their meth and opioids, I guess. (I know that's mean, but I can't figure out why Wasilla wants to be a "dry" community when it comes to the pot biz.)
