67.5% in my caucus were for Bernie.

(1,054 posts)29 for Bernie
4 for Hillary (2 didn't show up but their papers were in the precinct envelope)
1 undecided
Bernie got 4 delegates and Hillary got 1. None of her supporters stayed to be a delegate so I had to pick out two of her supporters from their sheets to have one of them for delegate and one for backup. I wrote down their phone numbers and will tell them. The DNC is supposed to mail them but I think it's more polite to tell them.
We had a lively discussion on what we wanted to submit for our 3 resolutions. We stayed till the last minute.
I got in 2 hours and 15 mins early as the janitor left the door open for everyone and stayed to chat. An hour an a half before the actual time it was to open it was 3 quarters full and overfull 1/2 hour before door opened.
Okay, lots of issues just getting to vote.
1. I and most of the people I talked to never got our ballots in the mail. We hadn't moved. I had checked my voter registration and verified it was valid because I hadn't received a ballot.
2. 40 precincts all in one junior high library and lunch room. Not enough room. Way more precincts in one spot than I've seen before. Normally I caucus way closer to my house and that's what everyone else was saying too.
3. The map to find people's precincts so people would know were to go was beyond awful and no old person could have read it because of the very tiny letters. Major roads weren't highlighted. I've never seen a map of my area where I couldn't tell it was my area before. That caused a lot of problems and a lady had a red marker in her purse and I had her outline the main road and freeway and write their names big, so people could tell easily at least where in generally they were.
4. Some people were told to go to other schools when they showed up(by caucus officials) and had to come back when we were finishing because they were supposed to be at ours. They were mis-directed to far away when they had shown up in the right place in the first place. I question why.
5. BIG issue with the tally directions. We first had 5 for Bernie then were told the math was wrong and we were supposed to increase to average out instead of decrease. Even though the form said to decrease to lowest average. I disputed this and then the Caucus main official called the main office and said round to nearest .5 whether up or down. This is what gave Hillary 1 delegate instead of 0 from our precinct. This also didn't take away one more from Bernie for the undecided voter when the main dnc guy had given that single undecided vote a delegate and I challenged him and the math got changed again - giving Bernie 4 delegates and Hillary 1.
6. When I asked if they were going to open other packets and correct the math (that gave Hillary more because the area is way pro Bernie) they said no they were not correcting the math on what caucus' turned in.
Very much enjoyed the Bernie Rally, I mean caucus this morning. I did get applause when it was over for doing a good job which shocked me because I was constantly challenging the election official and anyone who stood up to take anything over. IE. a woman instantly volunteered to be caucus captain and I said, "absolutely not her" since Hillary people have infiltrated the Bernie camp and might do the same to the caucus. I asked for anyone else to be captain. They all voted for me at that point. I didn't trust anything, when people were sent to ask the main guy I had someone else double check each time. Then I went myself. Shockingly they liked that.
And, I really liked the debate over our resolutions. Most people stayed until noon when the place was to close.
Our crowd was likely 30+. Plenty of older people. I saw maybe three 20 somethings in my precinct.

(16 posts)The final tally came to 1.22% Clinton and .78% for Sanders. I was told to round Sanders to 0 because he received less than one percent. But in any math class I have ever taken that is not the way it works. The math for caucasing doesn't seem right.
Every one in my precinct agreed that it didn't seem right. Two people who were fence sitters to begin with offered to change their votes to split it more evenly and each candidate would have gotten a delegate. But the precinct captain said no, we'd already had our two votes and we were done. We have two delegates for the precinct and they both ended up going to Clinton.
There were 7 precincts total at my location. Not sure about the final total number of people who showed up but it was crowded. It was a small room though, too.

(1,054 posts)In the end I was told to round up to nearest percent over .5, and down if it was under 4, and I agreed with that. Before I challenged it we were supposed to round up in all cases. And the instructions said round down.

The site is updating the caucus results as they are reported.
Sanders is leading by 75% in most precincts that have reported. One was a 60-40 split in his favor.
