Thank you WA & West Coast!

This is where the progressive revolution will start. Contrary to popular opinion, the base of liberalism is no longer on the east coast. Seems like too many establishment and big money interests in traditional liberal hotspots (looking at you MA).

NY will still get its shot, but seems like our last shot is in CA. I strongly recommend reading Thomas Frank's Listen Liberal as it perfectly explains the state of the democratic party and its move away from working class to the professional class.

The "left" coast is where it is happening.

As to Frank, I don't totally agree that it is the professional class that is driving the Democratic establishment. Right now it is the moneyed class. They have all the stroke in the party elite, DNC and Third Way circles.

Either way, what the Democratic party used to be about has drifted into disregard. It has become the party of Eisenhower republicans, though somewhat more liberal on social issues.

I live on the Central Coast of CA and Bernie is not leading in any polls. If anything CA will be a tie if not a win for Hillary.

I'm not sure how much, exactly, of a bellweather you guys are specifically.

I suspect HRC will do really well in San Diego, I agree in general CA may a tossup but I suspect the further north you go up the coast the better Bernie is going to do.
