Voters call for 're-vote' during hearing into AZ's botched primary

Voters call for 're-vote' during hearing into AZ's botched primary

PHOENIX - Arizona lawmakers held a hearing Monday about Tuesday's presidential preference election.

Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell and Arizona Secretary of State Michele Reagan were invited to the hearing, hosted by the House Committee on Elections.

Many Maricopa County voters showed up to the hearing and expressed their anger.

One voter said, "Helen Purcell, please resign! Do us all a favor."

Helen Purcell has already admitted fault, but it wasn't enough for voters at the hearing today.

Voters want whoever is responsible to face justice and they also want a primary voting re-do.

Citizens were invited to offer testimony and public comments were passionate.

They ran out of regular ballots so handed out provisional. People who got provisional were eligible voters - at least that's what polling personnel said that night on camera. So count them.

Ohio - Blackwell got away with it.
Florida - Jeb got away with it.
Arizona -it is time to stop the corruption.

You count everything you have and fix the other problems as well - if that means a second primary (which won't happen) you still count what you have. I'm not for fixing elections to get my candidate. I believe Bernie will do well. The problem was too few polling places esp in diverse areas. But you still count votes. That's fair.
