Clinton, Sanders respond to union questions

One sweeping question asked whether ... "federal workers will receive pay raises commensurate to the services they provide the American taxpaying public?”
Sanders said yes and took the opportunity to stand up for the federal workforce.
Clinton supports “appropriate pay raises,”

They differ on backing a minimum wage of $15 an hour.
Sanders supports raising the minimum wage to $15 by 2020.
Clinton is more conservative, saying she favors raising the minimum wage from the current $7.25 to $12.

How it will effect her following in California when they're told that their 15.00 an hour is just TOO HIGH, and they should settle for the more pragmatic 12.00, or less, depending on what her worship considers 'appropriate'.

I can't remember what group was doing that, but they had flyers and were telling people that, too.

She might not necessarily oppose a $15 minimum wage in California. I am not aware that she has ever said that states should not be able to set a higher minimum wage than the federal. I support a $15 federal minimum wage but it might be reasonable to say that a high COL state like California should have a higher minimum wage than the federal rate.

We have to have more threads about Susan Sarandon. Get your priorities straight voters.

It’s no surprise Democrats have more in common with the union faithful. But no response from any of the Republicans shows no respect for the concerns of federal employees and other unionized people, including the independents and Republicans among them.

We asked the campaigns of the remaining Republican presidential candidates — Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and John Kasich — why they did not respond to the union questionnaire.

They ignored us, too.
