2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumChris Matthews and the Steaming Smelly Cat Turd...
Just now on MSNBC, Trump told Matthews that there needs to be punishment for women who have abortions, and then also told him there should be NO punishment for the men who get women pregnant. Oh, and-- the cherry on top!-- Trump hasn't decided what the punishment is going to be yet!! As they cut to commercial break, the look on Chris Matthews' face was priceless. He couldn't even look at Trump, and his expression was just exactly as if he were sitting two feet from the biggest, nastiest, steaming, stank of post-tuna cat turd!!!!
(With apologies to all cats everywhere....)
Trump may have just nuked himself!!

(6,719 posts)the man should pay all costs and donate one of his balls. Men must be held accountable. Women have born the consequences for long enough. Your turn big guys.

(3,017 posts)A Trump spokesperson has already retracted Trump's comment that women having abortions should be punished. I saw the clip where he said it. It was a clearly a question he had never considered and he came up with the answer on the spot.

(3,017 posts)He reminds me of Bill Clinton, over the hill and starting to babble like a crazy old uncle. Thin skinned and self righteous. And like Bill Clinton, Tweety seems like he's usually right on the edge of exploding in anger.

(2,145 posts)I'm sorry. A little common sense: media hates this guy on behalf of all the big pockets on the right and the left. Just as Bernie got little attention is still gets less, the Kochs and others are scared to death he will get the nomination. This is all a panorama produced by the establishment on the right to get rid of Trump.
Now if Trump really said what he believes, he'd be gone in an instant. He wants to stick around so he says whatever stinkin' stuff he can think of because, yes, it does play to enough rightwingers that they keep him in. I would love for him to win. If he really did totally continue to sound like he does now, he'd lose in a landslide for the democrat. He knows that. He may be a narcissist but he's no dumb. I'm rooting for him on the right. Cruz is totally in it to win and he is hiding an awful lot of evil. A lot of money can control Cruz and Kasich too. Honor the men and women who pay their own way. Because money is what this is all about.
Look at the big picture here and wonder why the media on the left and the right is trying so hard to turn off the voters to Trump. He is the last person the money on the right wants before the voters. He cannot be controlled. And all of media is helping them. Can't have this uncontrolled monster - got to get rid of him. Don't play into their hands.
Same with Bernie except using different strategies on the left. I am not afraid of Trump.

Trump was never respected, but he was never considered any more harmful than a oaf who came too easily upon too much money.
If he is really such an absolute piece of shit, how did he not stink up everything he touched long before now?
I believe 1 of the following must be true:
1. Trump is not an asshole, is faking it, and Clinton is complicit (and therefore shares responsibility for the hate being inspired).
2. Trump is not an asshole, is faking it, and Clinton is not complicit (and therefore holds responsibility for not revealing the scam).
3. Trump is an asshole, Clinton didn't know (and therefore Clinton couldn't tell) = Clinton has poor judgement
4. Trump is an asshole, Clinton did know (And therefore Clinton doesn't care) = Clinton has poor character
Regardless of what we say about Trump, the best that can be said about Clinton in regards to her relationship with the man is that she has incredibly poor judgement. I can't understand why she gets a pass on this...
