Poll: Santorum Comes from Behind in Alabama Three-Way
With Alabamas March 13 primary looking more and more important, Rick Santorum leads the rest of the Republican field in a poll conducted by Alabama State University. Santorum leads with 28 percent of likely GOP primary voters, while Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney trail with 18.9 percent and 18.3 percent, respectively. Texas Congressman Ron Paul was not included in the poll except for a choice for other.
Almost a month ago, another poll showed the three candidates were neck-and-neck in a three-way matchup.
Meanwhile, Rep. Robert Aderholt announced Friday that he would endorse Santorum for the nomination.

(4,459 posts)I wonder how many Dems will crossover to vote for the lesser evil or the easiest for Obama to beat. My husband and I have been wondering what we'll do. Our democratic congresswoman appears to be safe.
BTW, I knew Aderholt many years ago, and he was a complete tool even back then, and certainly not the sharpest knife in the drawer, in a Dan Quayle sort of way.
