Call for some DU investigation -- Can someone find a Santorum quote from the past?

I SWEAR I remember Santorum stating that "if the campaign promise isn't a good one, it doesn't have to be kept". The situation was just after duh-W was coronated and people were complaining that he didn't keep his campaign promises. I know it's on tape "somewhere".

If that were to come out again, I'd love to see him squirm with that one! Hmm -- which campaign promises won't he keep (like any of them).

But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist -- I know it does. Besides, I also know there are many here at the DU that can pluck it out of memory like it was yesterday. I can't be be only who heard that.

Bush* had run on a bunch of bipartisan "end the roadblocks" nonsense, then of course Democrats took a 50-49 advantage. Whereupon Rick was trotted out to explain how the "post-partisan" Republicans could justify a filibuster to block committee reassignments.

I'll dig around.

I'm not sure who I'd rather have -- Frothy whose supporters are loud and obvious, or Mittens who has minions lurking under rocks and can "surge".

For once, I want to see someone get his own words thrown back -- you know, his "youthful indiscretions". Yes, they'll lie and deny, but it's fun for a few shining moments. . .
