2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumKnow your Right Wing Bullshit sources: the Daily Caller; Hot Air
Not infrequently you see screwball posts on this forum criticizing Hillary Clinton of engaging in crazy sounding nefarious activities.
here's an example: I just need to understand something -- here is PROOF that Clinton knowingly sent classified material
This post is a copy and paste of an article here: http://hotair.com/archives/2016/01/11/hillary-by-ordering-identifying-heading-i-meant-dont-transmit-classified-info-or-something/
... but somehow the poster forgot to give a link to the Hot Air article...which was copied and pasted.
For those who don't know, Hot Air
"is a conservative American political blog.[1] It is written by the pseudonymous Allahpundit, Ed Morrissey, Mary Katharine Ham, Erika Johnsen, and Jazz Shaw on the weekends."
Hot Air was founded by Michelle Malkin, a conservative author and blogger, in 2006, taking over hotair.com from a defunct personal website.

Another good source of Disinformation is the Daily Caller.
The Daily Caller is
A conservative/Republican news spin organization founded by conservative reporter Tucker Carlson and former Dick Cheney aide Neil Patel.[1] The Daily Caller's announced objective is to be a "content" response tool to articles on The Huffington Post.
Tucker announced a loose idea for it at the 2009 CPAC. He and Patel than officially announced it at a Heritage Foundation gathering in May 2009, after which $3 million in capital from unnamed outside sources was invested.

Here's a title which gives you an indication of the kindof crazy ass bullshit they put out on Hot Air: "Is the White House manipulating the media through Media Matters?"
and here's a title of a entertaining article of the same ilk on the Daily Caller:
"Inside Media Matters: Sources, memos reveal erratic behavior, close coordination with White House and news organizations"
We've seen a steady stream of otherworldly memes about Media Matters and David Brock. Now you know where they come from ... since you won't see any links to the above sites in those posts.
It's always good to know where your daily disinformation is coming from.
