The Minnesota Super Delegates I Helped to Elect

Al Franken, Amy Klobuchar and Betty McCollum. I canvassed for each of them. I've met Franken a couple of times and have talked to Betty McCollum on several occasions.

All three are Super Delegates from my state, and all three have declared their intentions to vote for Hillary Clinton at the convention. They will not change their minds. I've emailed all three on more than one occasion to ask them to stand firm in their decision.

Those are my Super Delegates. They're all solid progressives in Congress. They're all honorable people. I trust their opinion.

Please feel free to tell DU about the Super delegates in your state who you helped elect to office.

Thanks for reading.

We should recognize our elected officials who are doing a great job of representing us.

It's only fair that Hillary get all the super delegates. I'm sure that AL is waiting for the chance to kiss her ring.

It's a shame how many solid progressives are under such childish attacks. "Kiss her ring"?

If SD's voted proportionally Sanders wouldn't be in any better shape. Unlike you, I don't want to handcuff individuals like Al. I trust his judgement.

"Kiss her ring" is a load of crap.

He says she provided critical support for him in his recount and feels he might not be in the Senate at all without her help. I and a Bernie fan but I do trust and respect Al.

in a heavily Democratic precinct with about 2300 registered voters. Such a low turnout isn't indicative of anything. Al Franken will vote on his own conscience, as will Amy Klobuchar and my House Rep. Betty McCollum.

Super delegates are not tied to caucus results. They can vote as they think best. The three I named think it's best to vote for Hillary Clinton. That is their right and obligation to ALL of the voters, not less than 2% of them.

correct the poor judgement of the ignorant masses or to pay back political favors. I guess that the DNC should eliminate these pesky elections altogether.

VA has 14 supers. 8 are DNC members and 6 are elected officials. 13 are supporting HRC, one is undecided.
