Bernie Lockheed Martin Sanders is the only one who gets a pass for voting for intervention abroad, I guess.

If you're going to use the warmonger neocon line of attack, you better apply your standards consistently. There is NO candidate in this race, and for that matter, NO candidate that is viable in American politics that can meet those standards. Neither Bernie or Hillary are acceptable from a pacifist or non-interventionist standpoint. She pushed the Native Americans onto the trail of tears and was responsible for slavery and the civil war.

I mean didn't you know? If you listened to her detractors you could certainly get this impression.

I think of hyperbolic posts that go so far past the norm of decency just to score a cheap political point that it is actually disgusting. And I used to like cheese sandwiches.

even after being told it would ruin his chances for reelection (it didn't his poll numbers started looking better).

He did not put his career ahead of the lives of our military personnel or the Iraqi people.

Sierra Blanca never got any such waste. Sierra Blanca did serve as the sewage treatment site for train loads of NYC sludge for many many years.
This happened, but no one speaks of it:
"This week the Texas Toxic Tour takes us to Sierra Blanca Texas, home to the nation's largest sewage sludge dump. The story examines how Sierra Blanca, a small town on the U.S./Mexico border, became the resting place for New York City's sewage. The video interview includes a meeting with several local residents concerned with unusual health problems. Additionally, this segment will focus on how the TNRCC ignored local health concerns and illegal dumping to support tripling New York's waste being dumped in the Lonestar State. "

They called the trains 'The Poo Poo Choo Choo'. Went on for years. Never mentioned by those affecting great concern for that community......

There is no good excuse.

Obviously if people are so opposed to Hillary's vote for the IWR, they must have preferred for the Iraqis to live under Saddam's rule. I suppose that life for them under Saddam would have been all rainbows and sunshine.

What I will say is that what Saddam did do to the Kurds in his country was done with chemicals supplied by the good ole USA. And don't bother to ask for a link. If you want to read about it look it up on google.

but for a long time he was our SOB

And he didn't tolerate idiots like the Taliban or other fundamentalists nuts. He kept the region stable and a lot of people did have better lives before we decided they needed "liberating" because George W. wanted to show up his daddy and Cheney's Halliburton needed to be pulled back from the brink of bankruptcy.

108. The only reason half the Democratic Party was against the Iraq War
Sat Jun 4, 2016, 12:02 AM

was because Republicans were for it.

Now that the leading Democratic candidate was a supporter of the Iraq War, and just about all other US wars, the phonies couldn't care less about these wars and the death and destruction they caused. The destroyed lives of relatively powerless people in third-world countries mean nothing to these bigots.

114. Whenever I think of cheese I think of death.

"Cheese is philosophically interesting as a food whose qualities depend on the action of bacteria -- it is, as James Joyce remarked, 'the corpse of milk.' Dead milk, live bacteria. ... The process of ripening in cheese is a little like the human acquisition of wisdom and maturity: both processes involve a recognition, or incorporation, of the fact that life is an incurable disease with a hundred percent mortality rate -- a slow variety of death. Still, there are a lot of very good cheese shops in France." (The Debt to Pleasure, John Lanchester)
