It's ironic that only one of our candidates is a superdelegate, and it's not Clinton

Bill is a super, as an ex-President, but ex-Senators are not super-delegates unless their state party elects them as one (which NY's didn't for Hillary).

She wants the Oval Office but I'm not so sure it's going to be hers. Seems like the media has turned against her.

2. That would be Sanders, the super delegate, saying he doesn't get it and think it is wrong.

Correct? Another of Sanders many moments of hypocrisy that floors me he gets away with out loud.

5. Current Senators (and Representatives) are Superdelegates, which makes BS a Superdelegate

But former Senators and Representatives are not ... if they were, the number of Superdelegates would grow dramatically.

The only "formers" that are SDs are Democratic Presidents, VPs, Speakers of the House, Senate Majority Leaders and DNC Chairpersons ... which are lumped into the "Distinguished Party Leader" category. the DPLs also include the current DNC Chairperson and if the President and VP are Democrats, those current ones as well.

10. I don't know if it could be "relinquished"since by definition a senator is a SD but he could abstain

OTOH, a lot of people think the home mortgage interest tax deduction is unfairly regressive... but I bet very few people don't take if if they're entitled to it...

And yes criticizing it, too, at times.

What is the irony that you perceive?
