See You In Philadelphia July 24-28! Huge Sanders Rallies for Democracy. When, where & how.

On July 24th-28th Come to Philadelphia to rally for the future of our Democracy!

The Bernie Sanders presidential Campaign is going all the way to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia this July. Despite the Mainstream Medias Manipulation of the facts, and insistence that this race is all but over, Bernie is going to finish strong in the primaries and it is nearly a statistical impossibility that either Democratic Party candidate will be able to clinch the nomination on pledged Delegates alone.

It is crucial that american Citizens take a stand and show up to support Bernie during the Democratic National Convention, to show the DNC just how committed we are to his Nomination for the General Election.

No Masks, No Violence, Just Americans standing up for the future of our nation, and the values we know are pivotal to preserving our Democracy. Let's turn Philadelphia into Woodstock!

Rally, March, Demonstrate, and peacefully protest. with any luck we can motivate such an enormous response in our support community that we will be a force to be reckoned with simply by being a logistical nightmare, and unsolvable strain on the citys infrastructure. this is not a call to violence this is a call to presence. if we are able to gather crowds in the hundreds of thousands, or even millions, we stand more of a chance of keeping ourselves safe from police aggression. there is no point in physical conflict, when we have enough people to make Philadelphia stop working by simply showing up.

This video was created for free by passionate supporters of Bernie Sanders. With the most sincere hope that it is worth your time to watch and share with those who love him too.

the student movement, the labor movement.,

Who do you think the quarter of a million people who went to Woodstock were? They were the progressives, radicals and liberals of that generation.

They also marched by the millions against the Vietnam war, for voting rights, civil rights, womens rights, gay rights and many other progressive causes of that period.

And that generation won some important battles on those and other issues during the 60's and 70's.

So don't put them down.

Do you think they were just a bunch of dirty long haired non-political hippies?

some of those radicals went on graduated collage and despite it all became quite materially successful, so much so and enough that by 11 years later they came much to their shock to realize that the power/wealth/privilege sharing they had once so adamantly promoted also meant sharing their power/wealth/privilege and hence the term Reagan Democrats was born or as I have heard it said you can't really be a fiscal conservative until you have something to conserve
However as the GOP moved to right and began to develop religious overtones they began to chafe what to do what to do

well violate what we now know as the 3rd way was born, socially at least nominally liberal on noisy popular hot button issues such Gay Rights and women's reproductive rights but conservative on economic issues and other social justice issues

Many people were denied access - affiliations "changed", locations closed, "ran out of ballots", totals mysteriously changing. enough so that there are inquiries. Pointless of you to deny it, really. And you do not get to dictate how Democracy works. Being authoritatively snappish about things is totally ineffective these days. I suspect the demonstrations and rallies will go on, despite your disapproval. The "Democratic" Party does not speak for all of us, and it sure does not get to dictate to us.

It's up to everyone to tone down the angry rhetoric.

When you refer to Bernie supporters as "an angry mob" you are turning up and amplifying the angry rhetoric. That is not wise if you want to win in November.

Of course, Hillary with her money from the oligarchs and her support from the media that wants to see her end net neutrality has done better up to this time especially in the early primary contests.

But Bernie, having started maybe 19 or even 39 years later than Hillary to run for the presidency, has run an amazing campaign. The momentum is on Bernie's side.

Please have some respect.

Hillary has a lot of problems, and when the Republicans start pointing them out, she will have a hard time responding especially since it is hard for her, painful for her, to admit when she is wrong.

Hillary doesn't have the nomination yet. We all need to show respect for each other. Just wait and see.

Jun 2016

... why, if the 99% believe Bernie has the answers, they didn't vote for him. That's probably because they don't think he has the answers, or that he represents their voices.

There is no such thing as "momentum" in a primary race. States have differing demographics, population, etc. and vote based on their own state's specific needs/issues. They do not vote for a candidate based on the fact that the candidate won elsewhere. Bernie had "momentum" comping out of NH, but it didn't help him in the southern states that followed. Hillary had "momentum" after sweeping the south, but it didn't help her in the western states that followed.

Hillary has a lot of problems - and so does Bernie. Hillary has withstood attacks from the GOP for decades. Bernie can't handle an interview question he doesn't like. He'd never survive the Republicans pointing out HIS flaws.

Hillary doesn't have the nomination yet? No, but she will have it soon - and everybody KNOWS it, and have known it for months. Pretending that it's not over doesn't mean it ISN'T over - because it is.

Hillary has gained more votes because she started out as a better known person. She had lots of name recognition in the early primaries. Bernie had almost none. The press was shocked to learn that those of us who have listened to him on Thom Hartmann's show actually knew who he was.

Had Bernie had half of Hillary's name recognition, she would be straggling behind him in the poll numbers.

... by Republicans for years and stood up to it, we'd have heard about it. But as Bernie likes to say, "Nobody knows me." There's a reason no one does.

Despite whatever reason (excuse) you want to come up with, Hillary is the choice of the voters. It doesn't matter how or why the voters came to that choice - what matters is they DID. That's what democracy is about - the voters making their choice. It's not about what "would have been" if Bernie had more name recognition or anything else - it's about one candidate having been chosen over the other.

Let's see what happens? What IS happening right now is that HRC has the votes, has the delegates, and has the majority of Democrats behind her. And Bernie doesn't.

Or more correctly the Supreme Court voted to seat George W.Bush in the oval office.

Their 5 votes outweighed the votes of tens of millions of voters. And they called that a democratic election!

We still have an undemocratic presidential elector system rather than a popular vote for President and many of our primaries are still closed to tens of millions of voters.

We also have the Bill of Rights. Frequently these Constitutional rights are not even mention when people talk about American democracy. It's as if the only thing that matters is votes and the Bill of Rights is shoved aside as if it doesn't matter or exist.
