This Sanders supporter is looking forward to the primaries being over.

If there's a bright side to Sanders not being the nominee, it's the opportunity to forget about this election until November 1, or so. And, even then, care just enough to check how badly Clinton is polling against Trump in Michigan.

Instead of fretting over every headline and poll, I'll spend my summer enjoying the last few months of relative political calm and sensibility before having to face the turmoil of President Trump or another Clinton impeachment.

The last eight years were better than the eight before, and the coming years could have been even better still. But...a different choice was made.

Oh well, what's done is done and I've got a summer to enjoy.

.....when I simply spoke out against Hillary's policies which favor further environmental degradation, further economic stratification of our society, and further "America-first" exceptionalist policies towards the Middle East?

We're going to see more war, more money to the top "earners", and more oil train explosions due to continued fracking.

The only winners are the ignorant in this election.

If not, why are you talking about "when I spoke out...?"

My response was tailored to respond, specifically, to the thread creator.

The only winners in this election are the American people, who are going to get the MOST QUALIFIED POTUS of those on offer, and one who will go down in history as one of the best, ever.

Sit over there on the sidelines, and observe, if you don't want to be involved. You'll see.

Rooting for her to lose in the general and rooting for failure when she wins. They covered all of the bases outside of saying she kicked the neighbors dog when she was twelve. They are saving that one for the right moment.

Nothing out there is telling me that. Tough fight? Yes. Declaring a loss as you are? It's not based in anything real. It's an opinion and one I find to be flawed from the start. It's actually not even an opinion on my part. It's a fact that you are reading crystal balls.

That translates into a loss in every modern election.

I welcome you to show a poll that disputes this.

But, hey, like I said, it is what it is now. And if she stays within the MOE in Michigan, as she is now vs. Trump, maybe I can take an anti-emetic and manage to vote for her. I will be there voting for every other Democrat on the ballot.

too well either. So based oan what you've said, we should just accept the GOP abusing the Impeachment process while letting Rome burn once again like they did when President Obama was sworn into office and the GOP made a conscious decision to let the economy go to hell as a way back into power. How noble.

BTW it is a shame that someone with that much hate in their heart would post under the name of our distinguished President.

Most Americans will be trying to enjoy it while ignoring politics as well. Unfortunately, far too many are unnecessarily struggling to the point they won't be able to enjoy it. That's why I stayed in it after O'Malley dropped out. Clinton was my clear next choice after studying Sanders. Way too important for me to just go enjoy my summer, though there is sure to be some fun.
