Thom Hartmann today said that Harry Reid is apparently trying to get Hillary to have Elizabeth

Warren as her vice-president.

I still hope that Bernie wins but I would applaud Hillary for having Warren on the presidential ticket if Hillary wins the nomination.

Any thoughts on this issue?

Go Bernie!

All of Liz' natural enemies are Hillary's backers. She needs to stay in the senate as a check on Hillary's power grab.

acceptable to liberals. Elizabeth Warren should not take such a position, which has no power, unless she ascertains that Hillary has a terminal illness that will keep her from completing her first term. And I doubt that she would want to leave the senate, where she has power and influence (and where we need her). Furthermore, I have seen no evidence that she has presidential ambitions.

Silenced in a ceremonial position under a president who opposes so much she has fought for? Dreadful...and I'd lose considerable respect for her.

I suspect Hillary might consider offering her the slot as impeachment insurance, though. What better way to get a GOP-controlled Senate to decline to convict than have a veep that's actually a progressive?

If Hillary tagged Elizabeth Warren as her running mate I think she'd win over the vast majority of Bernie supporters almost instantly. And not just their votes, but their enthusiasm.

with a lot of enthusiasm!

On the other hand, I am still hoping Bernie can win the nomination somehow -- But if Hillary is the nomination, Warren as VP would be great, I think.

to do this and that with her campaign. God knows I am.

If Mr. Reid likes, he may assist her in facilitating the running mate of her choice.

Elizabeth Warren would be a good choice but I don't really care much who she picks, I'm voting for the top of the ticket.
