Current AP delegate count -- Clinton: 2,755. Sanders: 1,852.

Clinton has passed a pledged (elected) delegate majority by 2,184 - 2,023 = 161 PDs.

Clinton has passed a total delegate (PD and SD) majority by 2,755 - 2,383 = 372 delegates.

There will be no contested convention.

she only needs 199 Superdelegates (of the 500+ she has) for the total majority to put her over the top ... BS could "flip" all the remaining Superdelegates she has ... and he still wouldn't win.

She needs super delegates to get the nomination on the first ballot at the convention. I was trying to find out what the minimum number is regardless of the number who have endorsed her.

then he'd win with a majority of SDs but a minority of votes and elected delegates, which would be grotesquely undemocratic and unfair. But I can't think of any scenario where that might happen. If something that scandalous or damaging emerged from the bowels of DC, which is hard to imagine but at least feasible, she'd resign long before facing a convention revolt.

Basically he's hanging around on the hope she'll be taken out by Providence which is what I've been politely pointing out since he got in.
