Sanders did not steal Hillary's historical moment. Please just stop it!

How could Hillary have a moment of celebration when the celebration has been going on for months (some would say 8 years)? It's not a surprise - we've been told the math seems like forever now. You know that bore at the party that keeps repeating the same old stories about that 'whatever' episode from the past - the friend you politely smile and nod at?

What were you expecting? You make your bed, you lie in it.

If anything, less so, because he didn't speak until most people had gone to bed. He obviously was speaking primarily to his supporters in the room last night, not the national media.

It's a tired, old, beaten rug of a story to most by now. Bernie's campaign still has an ongoing story. I'm glad he shared it. And, yes, it was for his crowd, so, sorry if you felt left out or not particularly special. That feeling you are having, friend, is being egotistical.

And as a woman I don't think her nomination is anything to do a happy dance about.

If we're going to talk about egotistical people, tell me, how egotistical is is to be running for president just so you can get your damn name in the history books?

The man believes in his message but I'm pretty sure he knows he lost. He wants to get something out of his endorsement. Can you blame him?

We post "please stop" and they laugh and double down.

The party has gone to hell, and don't forget that the Clintons took it there.

The OP's subject line implies that some Hillary supporters are whining about Sanders stealing her moment. That's what I was reacting to, not the defense of Sanders.

from the SD. If she blames its passage on 'lame duck' or Obama, she will completely discredit herself. She can't do that!!! It would be political suicide.

many ways to measure success - and I think the democratic party, in balance, won. Hillary's supporters are recognized for their terrific support, and Bernie's supporters are recognized for their contribution to saving the democratic party.

So why let someone who can't add straight ruin the moment women have been working so long and hard to achieve.
