Seems Warren is being sold to us.

All the earmarks of political theater are there. I really think her influence is needed in the senate but the VP slot would bring a whole different kind of influence.

I think she has great appeal to most Sanders supporters and has earned their respect. I also think there are a lot of Clinton supporters who really aren't sure what they would have done if it had been Warren instead of Sanders.

Outside of uncertainty around her Senate seat, the rules to which I am uneducated, I'm flat out sold on Warren for VP.

As Josh Marshall at TPM put it, Warren's progressive tendencies would bolster Clinton's.

she can hold on to her Senate position until after the election..the governor could only name a replacement, if I remember correctly, for three months if she is elected...then there would be a special election. Joe Kennedy III would be an excellent choice to run.

I like Warren, but she can do much more good in the Senate. Majority Leader in a few years?

If she is the person Hillary actually wants for VP, I am all for it. But I don't want her picked just as a bone to us, because if she is picked under those circumstances she will likely be marginalized, in which case I would rather keep her in the Senate.

However, I would like to keep her in the Senate where she could have a tremendous amount of influence.

Either way, I'm loving her as the attack dog of the campaign!

My heart's deepest desire is to see the Presidency flow from Clinton to Warren, and putting her in the VP slot gives her the chance to earn foreign policy and leadership cred.

Plus, the most obvious reason to choose her: if Hillary Clinton were to die in office, who would do the best job of being President in her place? For me, the answer is obviously Warren. I would feel safe with the nation in her hands. That's the most important consideration of all, IMHO.
