Team Clinton Is Formidable

"SNIP.............

Rick Klein: “This started as the year of the deepest Republican bench in history. But the Democratic lineup that’s just starting to warm up could be the story of summer and fall. Consider the advocates Hillary Clinton will have at her disposal: President Obama, former President Clinton, Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Elizabeth Warren – all before Sen. Bernie Sanders even gets to the point where he can work to defeat Donald Trump.”

“And Trump will have… Chris Christie? Jeff Sessions? Trump is busy warring with Warren on Twitter, and seems to relish the ‘Pocahontas’ jokes. But Warren is already demonstrating how strong she can be in terms of advocacy when her heart is in the fight. Her role is only getting larger: Her answer, when Rachel Maddow asked her if she thinks she could step into the presidency at a moment’s notice, was one for the veepstakes ages: ‘Yes, I do.'”

By what metric?! Teddy Roosevelt was a big deal, Reagan was a big deal, hell US Grant was a big deal. Is this guy arguing that the members of the clown car this year remotely compare to these guys?

The 17 original Republicans running for their Party's nomination were a "deep bench" only in numbers. In reality, everyone of them was extremely weak and shallow. That's why Donald Trump was able to pick them off one by one. None of them, including that blowhard Governor Christie, could stand up to Mr. Trump.

Perhaps Rich Klein should rethink this part of his commentary.

It's not hard to be a formidable opponent to someone who is a racist, fascist, corporatist liar to a person with any sense. The problem is that so many people in this country lack any sense, and will vote with the professional con man. Look at how many people are taken by con games (aka phishing) on the Internet. These are some of the least complicated con games of all time that are on the 'net, yet people fall for them. Those who love Drumpf are of the same cloth. They are believing a much more sophisticated con game from a master at conning people. Unfortunately, I think that the Democratic Party has been taking some cues from the RepubliCON con games.
Reagan was a con man. An actor, yet people loved him. Many Democrats loved him enough to vote for the bastard twice!
Dubya conned most Democratic Party members of Congress, and the Senate that there WMDs in Iraq.
These were easy to prove con games, yet people didn't get it, because they are TOO STUPID!!!

Yes, if we are fighting someone that has a brain, than perhaps the Democratic Party has a Formidable team, but in the midst of this con game that the RepubliCONs put on time after time, I am not too certain.

Sure, there are some stupid people around but you can't blame the populace when they are being deceived by some of the best manipulation money can buy.

People are susceptible to the divide and conquer tactics.

Occupy made a lot of sense and they nuked that shit from orbit.

It's turned into Pro Wrestling - it's all for show, however most of the populace is still in the early 80s desperately clinging to it being real.
