He balances Clinton well - younger, Western, different background. He won't bring in the bigot vote, but they're voting Trump anyway.

Becerra sounds like someone I'd genuinely love to have for a Congressman, but reportedly his run for mayor of LA was a complete flop and he's declining to take the "risky" step of trying for Barbara Boxer's Senate seat. Why is he considered a long shot for VEEP?
