Let's say the process was rigged against Bernie

For argument's sake, let's say that DWS, the DNC, the Clinton campaign, MSNBC, the AP, DNC state chairs, etc. All of it was working in concert to thwart Bernie.

If Bernie's movement could not overcome this, how in the world would it ever overcome the Republicans, the Koch Brothers, Fox News, Republican controlled Secretaries of State like Katherine Harris, etc.

partly because he doesn't really know any other song, and partly because it sells well to the motor-voter crowd who get their poltical education from Facebook and Youtube. Not that that's bad, just that it didn't leave them with much more action to take than sending another 27 dollar contribution. He didn't ask them to help build the party because he was running against it.

I think the theory was, if he could A) take over the Democrats from within their own party, then he could B) use the party apparatus to beat the Republican. But if he couldn't get past A, then B would be impossible, and he never got past A.

As a corollary, it didn't matter that the party wasn't working to defeat him, and in fact, was at pains to encourage and help him, to its detriment it seem to me, but to the credit of the individuals involved including DWS, Barack Obama, and yes the Clintons. What mattered to Bernie was producing the appearance that it was all rigged against him, because that was a big part of his message. Which is what drove us crazy here because it was so consistently misleading.

pay close enough to know the answer to that question; he had that answer, and gave it to us repeatedly.

Of course, Hillary will not have to overcome any of that; she'll be working for them.

Let's see...on one hand, someone who would fight for us. On the other? Someone certain to work with the enemy.

Tough choice.

and the former can really only be accomplished by redistricting and overhauling the makeup of Congress (as a start) -- certainly not by any one person no matter the charisma. The latter method circumvents politics altogether so who cares about the rigging of the system when you no longer recognize the system's authority?

Hillary supporters that say that Hillary is the presumptive nominee, the MSM agrees, most all of the Dems in Congress have now endorsed her - why do Hillary supporters still have to lash out at Bernie and his supporters. That is not helping bring the Party together. The only thing I can surmise is that they themselves still think that Bernie can win this. They seem not be confident in their candidate.

12. The worst part is how the "revolution" will be AWOL in 2020 the same as they were in 2010.

Something tells me, based on their inability to sharpen their focus to smaller state- and congressional-level races, that these folks still don't understand the importance of redistricting, control of Congress, or even the legislative process itself.

No President can sign progressive laws if there's no progressive Congress to write any. But it's like they just don't get it, even after 6 years...

Then people will know they are for real.

BernieBros should not give up and get with the Party, and the Party should not compromise with it's voter base either, heck no. Intransigent self-pity wins elections for winners, it only fails for losers.

The whole argument sounds Trump-like to me.
