Bernie Sanders did remarkably well in the primaries.

I wouldn't have predicted that level of success at all in the beginning, and said exactly that in several posts here. Clearly, there is a lesson to be learned by the Democratic Party for future presidential primary years.

Even though Hillary Clinton, who is a traditional Democratic Party candidate, maintained a lead pretty much all the way through the primary season, Senator Sanders was always right there with her as a serious competitor.

Congratulations are in order for Bernie. He ran a tough primary race and exceeded most expectations from people who have followed presidential politics over the years. He didn't win, but he put up a hell of a fight.

Now, in 2016, we're moving on from a lively primary season to whup ass on a man who is probably the Republican Party's worst excuse for a presidential candidate ever.

350 Electoral Votes? More? A Landslide? Lets do this!

Hillary 2016!

Let's also have perspective. A win her size in a November election would be a LANDSLIDE. CrowCityDem Jun 2016 #1

considering that he wasn't even an official Democrat at the beginning. Yes, Hillary won with a strong margin, but that does not diminish the impact the Sanders' unlikely campaign had. His candidacy was unprecedented, since he came from outside of the party.

It was actually pretty amazing.
