My chosen candidate lost a state primary last evening. TODAY I support the winner.
Granted, it's not the presidential level, but we had our state primaries yesterday and in one race important to me my candidate lost, and I'm disappointed today. (And there were others around the state where my preferred candidate lost, though I couldn't vote in those races.) In my case, I personally know the candidate. The candidate worked the ground quite hard and really wanted the office. But my candidate lost, and that's the way it goes.
I now fully support the Dem who did win and will vote for that person in November.
So we've all been through it, many times at all levels.
The choice now is Hillary or Racist Monster Trump. And that is it. The stakes are as high as they come. How this can even be a question for some people who claim to be
"progressive" is completely unfathomable. Hillary Clinton is a brilliant highly experienced progressive serious presidential candidate, and Trump is a totally unqualified certifiable racist nutcase.
Case closed. Next case.
