I am old enough to remember a time when we had multiple candidates at the convention and delegate votes were counted there -- it was after that convention vote/count the nominee was official -- and not a moment before.

When all the delegate vote and HRC wins the most delegates, then the primary is over and Sanders' has lost.

This country has a worse election system than 23 other countries and why? Because your big corporations like it that way, they get the president they want that way. HRC is not the Democrat nominee yet, which is why she is referred to as the "presumptive" nominee. That is just reality, whether you like it or not. Her name will be entered into nomination at the convention and so may Sanders'. The Delegates will vote. HRC will (most likely) win that count. She will then -- and ONLY then -- be the Presidential nominee of the Democratic Party. (And the popular vote total is meaningless because it is the delegates who nominate the candidate, not the voters.)

I did hear a lot of reiterating of his stand on issues, but at this point in any campaign, that's what you hear.

I'll give you my 2 cents worth, as an ardent Sanders supporter. I know that Hillary Clinton will be the nominee. I would be beyond gob smacked if there was any other outcome. And, I will vote for her, and not have to hold my nose to do it, as I have a lot of respect for her.

To me, the most important thing is to defeat Trump, or any other Republican. And to take back the senate and make big gains in the house.

I say that because I am a Democrat, first.

And maybe he thinks sticking to it until the convention is the right way to have an impact. Can't fault him for that. He is not the enemy, and neither is she.

I just hope everybody puts on their big kids pants and work together to keep the White House. I mean, we can agree to disagree on some of the issues, but this vitriolic behavior and language from people on both sides doesn't do anyone any good.

SO Cool you will like reading this! 91.41% Bernie supporters will NOT support Hillary Clinton if she is the nominee!
So you don't have to be concern about us anymore!

http://www.usainfobox.com/latest-survey-91-41-of-bernie-sanders-supporters-will-not-support-hillary-clinton-if-she-is-nominee/

That means:

Together, in this campaign, 1.5 million people came out to our rallies and town meetings in almost every state in the country.

Together, hundreds of thousands of volunteers made 75 million phone calls urging their fellow citizens into action.

Together, our canvassers knocked on more than 5 million doors.

Together, we hosted 74,000 meetings in every state and territory in this country.

Together, 2.7 million people made over 8 million individual contributions to our campaign more contributions at this point than any campaign in American history.

Which means 2,468,070 million of Bernie's donors won't support her! YIPPIE!

Odd as HELL to see so much sneering here on "DEMOCRATIC Underground" against any of what he's saying he will go to the convention (and beyond) to fight for. It's what we ALL should be fighting for: DEMOCRATIC values, and a representative government that works for WE THE PEOPLE and not just THOSE GUYS the RICH and WEALTHY.

If he's going to fight for those changes in future elections, good. But pretending to still be running in this one even after the last votes were cast just doesn't make sense.

When there are no states or territories left to vote, typically that means there is no longer a race.

No worry of being censored for calling her the most vile and disgusting names a woman can be called. No worry that someone will turn their nose up at all the right wing attacks on the first female candidate at the top of the ticket for a major party.

It's such an inspirational place.

My first choice was Elizabeth Warren. Sanders is closer to espoused Elizabeth Warren positions that Clinton.

If she had run, what asinine thing would you call me for supporting Warren over Clinton?

The reason I joined http://jackpineradicals.org is to get away from people like you who are unable to have a reasonable issue debate.

I've seen the shit posted over there. Obviously not everyone there posts like that, but the fact that it's sanctioned is pretty vile.

It's pretty raunchy. Not my cup o tea at all.

False accusations against Clinton from right wing sources are posted here every single day. That makes DU suck.

And I've made no false accusations about the site you keep linking to. Are you going to deny that they allow people to call Clinton the b-word and c-word? Afraid most people here are already aware of it.

I said "you can let it all hang out there", etc., as in general, not you specifically. The only clearer I could have made it is by saying "one can" I guess. I even mentioned that not everyone there posts that way. I was just posting in response to someone saying they were inspired by that site.

His electoral campaign against Sec. Clinton ended last Tuesday on June 14th, with the last primary in Washington, D.C.

She won. He lost.

Who is he running against now? And, what race is he running in?
