There are others who are NOT in the Senate who can be chosen for VP. Think strategically.

As to Elizabeth Warren your cohorts once instructed us she was a progressive icon. What happened?

As to DemocratSinceBirth he has been prescient since birth. It would be cruel of him to hold others to such standards.

so I assume this is just name dropping by the Clinton campaign. That aside, assuming she did accept the position I believe her progressive following would suffer greatly as a result.
