Uncharted territory.

For the first time in my life the DNC has to actually work to get my vote.

It will be very interesting to see them try to drag this Minnesota liberal to the right.
The good news for the DNC. I've voted five times for Congressman Tim Walz. A man endorsed by former Republican Governor Arne Carlson. The bad news for the DNC...

These next four months should be very interesting, indeed.

all the Berniebots threatening us about how hard we're going to have to work in order to have the privilege of them voting for the candidate of the Democratic Party.

Will be voting for Hillary in the GE. But hey, if they don't want to vote for her, they still would have stayed my friends. No grown adult should have to kiss another grown adult's hind quarters to entice them to do ANYTHING.

Personally, I had a choice to vote for then Sen. Obama in 2008 or Hillary Clinton, and I voted for Hillary in the primaries. She didn't make it--was beaten fairly and squarely by Sen. Obama just like Bernie was beaten fairly and squarely by Hillary Clinton. So, I decided to take my vote and use it to get squarely behind and support Sen. Obama--just as then Sen. Clinton advised. Being a PUMA for me was NOT an option.

Life is about choices, and if a Bernie supporter chooses to not vote for Hillary in the GE, then that's their choice. Just like I had the choice to vote for her OVER Sen. Sanders. I'm very happy with my choice to support Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential Race.

6. No one is enticing them to do anything. They're free to vote for her or not.

But these boards have been awash lately with "I'm leaving and you're really going to have to kiss my ass in order to have me vote for her"posts. That's what I'm objecting to.

+1,000

I have friends who were/are still Bernie supporters who got into it with fellow Bernie Supporters because they said they'd be supporting Hillary in the GE--to the point where a few Bernie friends said those other Bernie supporters are no longer speaking to them.

Just, wow

Arne Carlson endorsed tons of DFLers during his Governorship. Arne was a one trick Pony and then we got a real half trick pony with the stage name of The Body. BTW,Tim is the real deal, and after what Quist and his followers did to that District, you have to thank Tim for changing the Political Landscape.

Don't think your going to dump your vote, cause ever vote counts, just ask Tim Walz.

Given the choice between a mainstream Democrat and someone who acts like a nut, people will vote for the mainstream Democrat.

And, NO, a vote for the Green Party is not a vote for Trump. It's a vote for the Green Party. Or whichever other option you want to go with.

More accurately, then, you have many choices of whom to vote for but only two outcomes you can influence that will have differential effects on your life and the lives of all Americans, including future ones.

A protest vote is a choice between two options even if it's for a third or fourth party candidate.

It's ok. Hillary's got this.

10. But she wasn't until Bernie came along so how do we know she'll stay to the left?

I fully expect she will veer back to the right on the TPP, fracking and "entitlement" reform.

16. At worst, even if that happens, she will then be in the same place as Obama.

Which means the "uncharted territory" meme is bullshit. We are in Obama territory. Did none of the Bernie or Bust people vote for Obama?

18. My point is that we aren't in "uncharted territory", we are in Obama territory, a bit to the left

of that actually. Did none of the Bernie or Bust people ever vote for Obama? Anyone who can never bring themselves to vote for someone as far "right" as Hillary must not have voted for Democrats for decades now.
