Naming Elizabeth Warren as Veep would maintain a tradition of over two centuries.

Every Vice President in history has been of the same gender as the President they served under, so really, Elizabeth Warren as Veep would maintain a tradition that has lasted more than two centuries.

The Democrats in 1984 and the Republicans in 2008 had presidential and vice presidential candidates who were different genders.

Ergo, the tradition stands.

Every Vice President in history has been the same gender as the President they served under.

Victori Woodhull was the presidential nominee for the Equal Rights Party in 1872.

Abigail Scott Dunaway was the vice presidential nominee for the Equal Rights Party in 1884.

There's a long tradition of women candidates. No woman has served in either role yet.

I think it would be wonderful for Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren to maintain this long standing tradition of the serving President and Vice President being of the same gender.
