That story isn't going away, especially in Florida.

Has a very short memory when it comes to news. If the tragic train derailment takes over the news cycle, what was reported prior to it will be forgotten. That coupled with the fact that the media will not return to a 3 day old story pretty much ensures that the scandals in the OP will be forgotten by the average, non politically aware voter.

Since this accident the cable news network have not covered it full time.
As they should.
It's a big story.
It's timely.
There are multiple injuries and death.
Still no definite cause.
Breaking news Should have priority over continuing non breaking stories.

I'm just saying the timing has been fortunate for Trump.
If this hadn't happened, the talking heads on Cnn and msnbc would still be talking about negative Trump stories.

I'm not asking you to agree with me.
I just don't know why you don't? Where am I wrong?

15. It's a big story, but its halflife is short

There's a low body count and there's no indication of terra at this stage. I suspect by the evening cable news cycle they'll be back on the election. Like springtime thunderstorms these stories blow hard quickly and peter out.

4. Yeah, but is this train accident really that big of a story? I haven't

been following it. I understand everyone has been rescued, one deceased person, injuries are not life threatening for the other passengers. Sounds like it could have been much worse. This may be out of the news relatively soon.

Let's keep things in check. For the injured, the dead and the people who now have to find another way to work.

That station was closed for a long time after Superstorm Sandy - now will be closed again.

No way to squirm out of it...and it seems so charges can be filed at this point but the damage will be FL and of course underscoring what a crook he is...

BTW: my son was on the train right before that one...yikes...

He's trying to get a bus home early and will work from home, figures it will be a mess for awhile.
