“I want to do the next debate, but everybody is talking about the mic.”

During a phone interview Friday with The New York Times, Donald Trump was asked if he would be attending the next presidential debate. He responded, saying he would like to attend, however, “everybody is talking about the mic,” as he dropped hints that he may bail over concerns of equipment failure.

On phone, @patrickhealynyt asked Trump if he'd do 2nd debate, “I want to do the next debate, but everybody is talking about the mic.”

Almost immediately following Monday night’s debate, Trump began blaming his failed performance on his mic, claiming that it was defective. When reporters asked about the Republican candidate’s less than mediocre performance, Trump’s response was:

‘I had a problem with a microphone that didn’t work. I don’t know if you saw that in the room. My microphone was terrible. I wonder was it set up that way on purpose. My microphone in the room, they couldn’t hear me, you know, it was going on and off. Which isn’t exactly great. I wonder if it was set up that way, but it was terrible. When I tested, it was beautiful, like an hour before, I said “what a great mic.”

Seriously, though, what a whiny baby. What's that old saying - "A poor workman blames his tools."

Lil' Donnnie couldn't keep his hands off the mic, therefore he is the sole person to blame!

Of course he can never ever have blame placed upon him, so it was mic's fault!

Like how it malfunctioned and what harm it caused. Who was unable to hear him and, if it was in the hall, why didn't they speak up or give a hand signal (hand cupped to ear) to indicate they couldn't hear him? Do tell us, Donald. Explain the problem. We 're all ears.

Has anyone out in TV land complained that they didn't? No. How about Hillary? She didn't seem to have a problem hearing him, so I infer from that the debate attendees heard him fine, too. Did anyone in the audience mention a problem? No? So far, only Donald.
