A new Associated Press-GfK poll found that nearly 7 in 10 third-party supporters say they could still change their minds.

“They are about evenly split between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump if forced to choose between just those two. Nearly one-third refused to pick or said they would just not vote if it came down to that.”

1. so the fundamental of race does not change, it is +5 to +6 for HRC

2. We'd like to have them. We'd especially

like to have their votes for Clinton-Kaine over Trump-Pence, and of course for the various down-ballot races in each state and territory.

They should not be scorned for demonstrating independence of thought, but the Supreme Court is too crucial to gamble away. A couple points in outcome could mean the difference between many of those closer Senate races.

So we'd like to have them.

3. No one is complaining about independence of thought.

The complaint is with voters being uniformed and acting on very limited/erroneous information about the candidates.

4. I honor anybody's self-direction

toward a sturdy citizenship. Madison and Jefferson wanted an informed citizenry.

Still sounds like a good idea to me.
